Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and confident Technical Sales Support / SDR (Sales Development Representative) to help introduce the client’s educational technology platform to schools, educators, and parents across Australia. This role focuses on outbound outreach, lead generation, appointment setting, and relationship-building with key stakeholders such as school principals and English teachers.
The ideal candidate understands consultative selling, is comfortable communicating with educators, and has experience in SaaS or educational technology sales.
Scope of Work
- Conduct outbound email outreach to schools and education contacts
- Perform background research on schools before outreach
- Reach out to approximately 5–10 schools per day with personalized communication
- Conduct follow-up calls and emails
- Qualify leads and identify decision-makers
- Book meetings and product demonstrations with schools and educators
- Support webinar promotions and lead nurturing campaigns
- Maintain CRM and sales tracking records
- Collaborate closely with the founder on sales strategy and messaging
- Assist with B2C outreach to parents where required
- Provide feedback on sales conversations and market responses
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SaaS sales, lead generation, SDR, or outbound sales
- Experience selling to schools or within the education sector is highly preferred
- Previous experience in educational technology (EdTech) is a major advantage
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling follow-ups
- Confident speaking with principals, teachers, and parents
- Organized and self-motivated
- Experience with consultative or relationship-based sales approaches
- Teaching or education background is a strong plus

- Dialer software (Twilio or similar)
- Google Workspace
- Webinar and scheduling platforms
Shifts & Hours:
- Initial commitment: Minimum 10 hours per week; semi-flexible shift
- Potential to scale to part-time or full-time
- Australian business hours preferred
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, approximately 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AEST
